Pictures of the Vietnam War remind us that war is a huge waste of our resources and our youth, not to mention a huge destroyer of the environment, parts of which we don't ever get back! Now that I look back at the true history of war I realize that none of them had a good reason for starting and none of them had a good ending either! Do a deep dive into that history and I am sure that if you leave your parochial biases behind, you will agree that none of the wars were good for the people! They were only good for the war profiteers!
