Russia's forces in Ukraine lost more than 20,000 soldiers in February; the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday that Russia has lost a total of 407,240 troops since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his invasion on February 24, 2022. At the beginning of the month, the tally was 387,060, meaning Russia lost 20,180 soldiers.
