While assembling an old coil for a demonstration by request, I realized how my knowledge has expanded over the years, leading me to believe that improvements were possible. After tweaking a few components, I devised an entirely new design. Remarkably, this updated version managed to charge a depleted 9-volt battery in under ten minutes, operating efficiently in the milliamp range and without generating excess heat—exactly as intended.
