In this live-fire demonstration of our SCORPION Light Mobile Mortar System, you'll see the capabilities to get in quick, fire, and get out quick. The fully digital, automated mortar system that features a Shoot & Scoot capability able to fire 8 rounds in 2 minutes. The SCORPION Light shown here is set atop a Polaris MRAZR Alpha 4, but SCORPION system can be mounted on any vehicle platform. It also features a “non-seating” baseplate — designed to NOT dig into the ground — enabling two key advantages: 1) recoil forces are taken off the vehicle, and 2) a 24-second departure; therefore NOT allowing enemy forces to back azimuth your location.

Other Features:

• From parking vehicle to rounds down range in 45 seconds
• Drive away (after last shot) in 24 seconds
• Eliminates the recoil effect caused by shooting on a vehicle.
• Fire Control System (FCS) knows its location as well as its assigned targets, including a ballistic calculation system for multiple munition types.
• FCS can be operated from inside and/or from outside the vehicle via tablet.
