In this very short video I showcase the "new", large, rechargeable USB-C battery for the Baofeng UV-5R ham radio and the newer UV5R GMRS version - not only the UV-5R but this USBC battery will also work with any other amateur radio that used a standard BL-5 sized battery (thats the battery that comes on the UV-5R) - So you can also use this USB-C battery with the Baofeng BF-F8HP ham radio, the UV-5X3 ham radio, the UV-5RTP, and the Baofeng UV-5R+ - NOTE that his battery does NOT work with the new Baofeng UV-5G+ GMRS radio, because the UV-5G Plus does not use the BL-5 sized Baofeng battery.
Basically.. This is a higher capacity rechargeable battery for your Baofeng, that you can charge directly via USB-C.
