Alien Soldier is a side-scrolling run-and-gun video game developed by Treasure and published by Sega. It was one of the few Mega Drive games to be released in Japan and Europe, but not in North America. It was made available briefly through the Sega Channel service, and it is considered an extremely rare collectors item. Alien Soldier is unforgiving and exhausting, and it is also a technical masterpiece. Your character has a variety of weapons and moves that the player must master to finish the game. The story follows Epsilon-Eagle, a gigantic bird-like human genetically engineered to have maximum intelligence and strength. You were once a member of the criminal organization Scarlet, but when you decided to break from the group, you were forced into a showdown with Scarlet's new leader, Xi-Tiger, who kills a hostage in his attempt to destroy you. Now it's up to you to take revenge against the bad guys.
