The Black Rod

This is my third experience seeing an object outside the plane's window. On January 24, 2024, we departed Orange County, CA and our flight was headed to Minneapolis, MN. Within 30 minutes of the flight, I saw this "Black Rod" object flying alongside the plane but at a lower elevation. It disappeared just on the outskirts of Las Vegas.
