The 2015 demise of Detroit Rapper Dex Osama was a sad loss for the City. Byron O'Shay Cox was the rapper's real name. He had grown up in the Dexter-Linwood neighbourhood on Detroit's West Side. Having been exposed to crime from a young age, Dex Osama eventually transferred his experiences into music. Unfortunately, despite being co-signed by two big named artists, he never made it out of his city.
