Kolomoki Mounds State Historic Park
is the oldest and largest Woodland Indian site in the southeastern United States, occupied by American Indians from 350 to 750 a.d. Georgias oldest great temple mound, standing 57 feet high and Uncle Ray ran up the stairs of this HUGE mound and looked over the area. What a fascinating place to visit. I drove from the panhandle of Florida, through parts of Alabama and on into Georgia, it was actually only an hour and a half drive. There is so much more to see and I may make the trip again another day. March 12th, 2024 www.mefoundation.world
