Oregon: Man accused of killing mother in Siletz believed she was a vampire

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man accused of killing his mom in Siletz allegedly told officials he did it because he thought she was a vampire, according to court documents.
Lincoln County deputies responded to East Logsden Road just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday after they received a call from Robert Bruce Poe, 56, saying he “accidentally killed his mom.”
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 79-year-old Judy D. Poe, who was confirmed dead by deputies at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday night.....
