Hath God Said? Hath God said Jesus is enough? Hath God said It Is Finished? Hath God said you have a new nature? (Eph 420But ye have not so learned Christ; 21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.)Hath God said you have been made “perfect” through Jesus Christ? Our STRUGGLE WITH PERFECTION IS ON MANY LEVELS. First we may think that to believe we are perfect is somehow a sin. If I believe that I am perfect then I am prideful. I remember saying as a young man the minute I say I am perfect I make myself a sinner. How ridiculous! God calls me perfect. ( Hebrews 1014For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.) Not because of what I have done but because of what Jesus did for me.
