For the first time since it was deployed as a part of Europe's Operation Aspides in the Red Sea, Greek Frigate Hydra encountered an Houthi drone. The Greek forces said in a statement that Hydra opened fire at the drone after which it flew away. This comes a day after an Italian warship shot down two drones in the Red Sea. It also comes on the day when the Iran-backed and Yemen-based Houthi rebels attacked U.S. destroyer USS Laboon with a ballistic missile. Watch for more.
