Kings: An “American” Absolute Monarchy

Kings, a modernized Biblical tale set in a quasi-America ruled by an absolute monarch, faded into obscurity during its single season due largely to NBC’s inability to properly market it. But the show is mostly well written, with a few clunky exceptions, and expertly acted all around to portray its slanted reflection of our own world.

Rather than stream the series and fight with the DRM to use clips, all the show footage is from old tv rips, complete with NBC logo and station markers. But for first-time viewing I do recommend a higher quality source.
