What If The Entire World Economy Ran Like This Company?

The video you have the chance to see here is on one in the popular comedy series on Cracked.com. If you never heard of it before, or better put, if you have been living under a rock for the past ten years, Cracked.com is a humor website with over 300 million monthly page views. The website was founded in 2005, by Jack O’Brien and is currently owned by E. W. Scripps. It is descended from Cracked magazine, which dates back to 1958.

In the video you are about to see, Cracked authors explore the root cause of every economy’s collapse, or, better using their terms, using an overextended allegory, they trace the roots of the economic crisis to a single company. The plot is set online, focusing on the communication, the reactions and the general attitudes of people in charge of different structures in a startup company. And Cracked would not be Cracked if they did not make a parody of how our own arrogance, incompetence and ego impede progress we have set our minds to achieve.

Let us give you just a sneak peek: a group of total strangers set up a startup company. They all have their roles, have mastered the pep up business phrases, figured out the mission, vision and the logo of the company, but apart from that, nothing else happens. No one has thought of actually grabbing any customers! Do you want to find out how you can get fired for quitting? Watch the video!

We don’t want to spoil it for you by saying more. Pour yourselves a cup of coffee and enjoy it!
