What If You Really Lived In The World Of Romantic Comedies?

The video you have the chance to see here is on one in the popular comedy series on Cracked.com. If you never heard of it before, or better put, if you have been living under a rock for the past ten years, Cracked.com is a humor website with over 300 million monthly page views. The website was founded in 2005, by Jack O’Brien and is currently owned by E. W. Scripps. It is descended from Cracked magazine, which dates back to 1958.

In the video you are about to see, Cracked authors explore the fallacy and sentimentality of romantic comedies people, and especially ladies, tend to devour. The action is set at an ironically named “Annie Hall Memorial Sate Home for Manic Pixie Dream Girls”. And Cracked would not be Cracked if they did not make a parody of every quirky girl’s line from every quirky romantic comedy we’ve ever shed tears on.

Let us give you just a sneak peek: Kyle and Katie married in a bouncy castle, ate pancakes for dinner and romanced each other enclosed by the bubble of music in their heads. Now they have come to the clinic for counseling. Kyle is out of his wits and Katie, an uber-cheerful manic pixie girl, is lost in her own world, or better the world of unrealistic expectations romanticromantic comedies force-feed us with. Will the clinic help them?

We don’t want to spoil it for you by saying more. Pour yourselves a cup of coffee and enjoy the video!
