Michigan blueberry farmers are concerned about this year's crop

In Wexford County, Double L Farms owner Derek Larrance says the plants are being tricked by warm weather into thinking it's later in the season than it is and they are coming out of dormancy. He says the risk comes when the buds get to the point of opening up, because a hard freeze would destroy the buds. Michigan is among the national leaders in blueberry production.
