How to create a peeling tree bark effect using mortar (glue cement)

This video is dubbed from Portuguese to English

I did this work with: AC3 mortar, to give the color I used 2 heaping tablespoons of yellow checkered powder and 2 heaping tablespoons of brown checkered powder in 20kg of mortar.
I placed the Mortar as if it were on a wall, I let it dry for about 15 minutes, and then I did the effects with the broom, I let it dry overnight and saw with the Mortar for the tree bark effect, I put 2 spoons of this mortar tablespoons full of yellow checkered powder and 1 tablespoons full of brown checkered powder, to be a little lighter than the first layer.
Then I saw it with a very watered-down paint base, with 10% white PVA glue to give it more adhesion.
And finally I started painting and mixing, first ochre, then brown and then green to give the color of moss, and finally I applied 3 coats of water-based acrylic resin.
