Dragon Quest XI, playthrough part 14 (with commentary)

The fighting competition continues. The Hero is paired up with the current champion Vince. The fights prove easy enough with the Hero and Vince fighting together. Erik who also joined got knocked out of the competition in the first round to the mysterious woman and old man. Further oddities occur with the rumors of fighters being kidnapped, and someone breaking into Vince's room at night. Is there more going on with this fighting tournament than meets the eye? or a strange amount of coincidences follow the Hero? Let me know what you think in the comments.
