Author and radio host, Eric Metaxas, sat down with Jerry Johnson, Ambassador of Patriot Mobile, to talk about the urgency of his latest book, "Letter to the American Church." Within his book, Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity. As Diertrich Bonhoeffer, a German Lutheran pastor, theologian and anti-Nazi dissident, and other heroes of the faith insisted, the Church has an irreplaceable role in the culture of a nation. Metaxas asserts “It is our duty to fight the powers of darkness, especially on behalf of the weak and vulnerable.” He details Bonhoeffer's courageous voice during Nazi takeover of Germany while the Church silently stood by.
