HUGE: Not Only Sweden, But Now Also Norway Goes AGAINST Cashless Agenda

Sky News host James Macpherson says the Norwegian government is looking to “protect” their economy in a decision to legislate the right for consumers in the country to pay with cash.

“Something we often talk about on The Late Debate and that is the dangers of a cashless society,” he said.

“Though it does not seem many Australian politicians are concerned.

“Others, however, are starting to take note, the Norwegian government is passing legislation to guarantee the rights of consumers to use cash when buying goods and services.

“What is interesting about that, Norway has one of the highest uptakes of digital use, a recent survey found only three per cent of Norwegians had used cash in their last purchase at a physical store.”

The government wants to strengthen people’s right to pay with physical cash

Just recently I reported on how Sweden is going against the cashless agenda, looking at ways to support citizens right to pay with physical cash.

Now the neighboring country of Norway is looking to do the same.

The Norwegian government is proposing a new law that will FORCE shops to accept real cash as payment. In other words, they will not be allowed to be “cashless”.

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security want to change the law of the land to make sure that real cash can always be used as a form of payment.
