On 10 March 2024, the people of Donbass began voting in advance of the Russian presidential elections using a system of mobile polling stations. The aim is not only to avoid large crowds on the three main voting days as the Ukrainian army continues to shell the region, but also to ensure that people with disabilities can vote from home.
Yesterday we accompanied one of these mobile electoral commissions to Makeevka.
