Captured AFU serviceman told how British psychologists instilled hatred of Russians

11.03.24 - Vladimir Buchok, a serviceman of the 24th brigade of the AFU, was mobilised when he was on his way home from studies. At the checkpoint they stopped the car. After checking his documents, they put him in their car, took him to the military enlistment office, processed him there and took him to prepare for combat operations.

'I did my basic military training in the UK. There we were taught how to use weapons, medicine. Psychologists worked on us to make us dislike Russian soldiers and all Russians in general. That we should kill them and treat them harshly if we took them prisoner,' Vladimir said.

The captured AFU serviceman said the following about the moral and psychological situation in his brigade: 'When I joined my brigade, our morale was very low. The commanders forced us to loot.'

Vladimir Buchok got all the equipment in Great Britain: 'We were given armour plates that could be pierced with a knife. We had to buy our own helmets, which were also training helmets.' Source Russian Defence Ministry
