Masada was not mentioned by name in the Bible, but was it referenced in 1st Samuel?

Who built two palaces, Large Storerooms, a Large Bathhouse, Columbarium Tower, and Cisterns on top of a 1,400 foot high plateau in the Judaean Desert?

And what happened here that resulted in 953 Jews choosing suicide over being captured?
