On our fixed, flat Earth, nothing rotates at all, except the sun, moon and stars - they move in the sky like clockwork around the fixed star Polaris, or around us.
The stars are attached to the blue firmament, which is visible at its highest point 112 kilometers above us - and they are like the moon, they are out of reach for us.
And even if they were reachable, there would be no way to land on them, because the stars are also made of plasma, like the moon. (Prof R Foster)
