Piers Morgan urges Kensington Palace to “release the original photograph” amid the controversy surrounding the Princess of Wales’ Mother’s Day image.

In this blistering monologue he says the manipulated photo had successfully doused the flames of conspiracy over Kate’s whereabouts with “gasoline”.

Piers blasts the clumsy photo-shop fail, suggesting it had also thrown up a series of worrying questions, including whether the Princess of Wales was too unwell to pose for a new photo?

The PR misfire has been labelled as a “humbling and humiliating episode for the royal family, which has made much of its transparency over the King’s cancer diagnosis”.
