Jake Lloyd, the 8-year old who was cast to play Anakin Skywalker 25 years ago in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace, was not bullied into submission by toxic fans, contrary to the mass media belief. In a new interview, given by Lloyd's mother, she outlines the child stars serious battle with mental health and how that upended his career before it had a chance to really take off. So no, Star Wars fans did not end the career of Jake Lloyd, it was once again the media lying to you and painting a narrative to make fans out to be worse than they really are.

Someone going through it right now is Daisy Ridley, as she has admitted that taking the reigns of the Lucasfilm franchise isn't the boon for the career the Hollywood insiders said it would be.
