Deadspin Sold and Fired Writer Who Defamed Kansas City Chiefs Kid!

Deadspin joins the likes of Vice News and BuzzFeed in being resigned to the dustbin of Internet history after it was announced that the company had been sold off by parent outlet G/O Media to Lineup Publishing. The first thing announced by the new owners was that the entire Editorial staff would not be making the transition to new ownership. This means Carron J. Phillips, the guy who defamed the Kansas City Chiefs fan as a racist, will no longer be employed.
