Conservatives are furious, but they’re not threatening Speaker Johnson’s job

Despite calling it a betrayal of Republican promises to cut spending, they refrain from threatening to overthrow Johnson.

Good criticizes the funding packages, accusing the speaker of aligning with Democrats to increase spending with no policy wins.

However, he offers no solution when pressed on the matter, signaling a shift in mindset among conservatives who initially aimed to wield significant influence in the new Republican majority, NBC News reported.
