Palestinians describe 'very tough' first day of Ramadan

Ramadan is typically a reflective and joyful time of year, but Fedaa Hamed – a displaced Palestinian from Khan Younis – and her family are beginning this Muslim holy month in an overcrowded camp in Rafah, with acute shortages of food and gas. "The first day of Ramadan is very tough, we don't know what are we going to cook," she said.
