Yet another explosion of sound concludes one of the best songs of the lot and marks the beginning of the record holder, Martyrs. It certainly doesn't need any introduction, given that we're talking about a single released last December, yet when contextualized throughout the entire album it doesn't lose its luster in the slightest, on the contrary it finds the perfect context to stand as a masterpiece. The structure is almost the same as all the other songs, i.e. verse-bridge-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus (with possible variations and/or solos), which for a progressive metal album could be a flaw, but which certainly gives Lotus a maturity and a compositional imprint capable of finally enclosing the sound of Soen. Returning to the song, Martin Lopez reconfirms himself as an institution on drums, Stefan Stenberg's bass does not disappoint even for an instant and Joel leaves people stunned on more than one occasion, especially in the last minutes of this jewel.
