(Fear On Them That Err)

Text: Psalms 56

Objective: that the brethren Know the enemy tactics and weaknesses;
And trust the Lord when we have enemies
plotting against us

Intro:
Define – gather, hide, fear, err, wait, plotting

Things to Note about Our Enemies Fear on our Walk with God:
1. They want us gone –vv.1,2 - “swallow up”, “fighting daily”
2. They resort in Lies – v.5
a. Evil, wrest (twist)
3. They capitalize in numbers – vv.2, 6
a. “gather themselves together”, “many”
4. They hide, fight in the shadows, not directly –v.6
5. They go through ridiculous amount of effort - “the devil is on the details”
a. vv.1,2 – “daily”; v.5- “every day”, “all… thoughts”
b. v. 6 – “mark… steps”, “wait”

Message/conclusion:
They will Lose and we’ll win when we do not fear them and rather Trust the Lord
Trust the Lord in times of fear – vv. 3, 11
Realize that God is greater than mere man – v. 4
= v.8 – He knows everything, keeping track
Let the Lord do what is right – avenge us – v. 7
“shall they escape” – certainty
Then we’ll praise the Lord – vv. 10, 12
The Saved are Winners and the Lord’s protection is on them/us –v.13
