United States Senate Passes Funding Bill With Major Wins For Michigan

The U.S. Senate has passed a funding bill with significant wins for Michigan, which include investments in the Great Lakes, health care, nutrition programs, and key priorities for our local communities.

$368 million in funding will be for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. Which since 2010, this program has funded more than 7,500 projects cleaning up and protecting the Great Lakes and waterways.

The bill also includes over $257 million to continue the Soo Locks project.
