Some Signs of Sanity

Pope Francis and Simon Jenkins of the {Guardian} both express the view that it is time for a negotiated settlement in NATO's proxy war in Ukraine. Jenkins writes, "The crass ineptitude of a quarter of a century of western military interventions should have taught us some lessons. Apparently not." One who has definitely not learned the lessons is Joe Biden, who continues to push for $60 billion more for war in Ukraine, while verbally tripping over "red lines" in comments on Gaza! A change in thinking is needed, beginning with understanding the unique potential presented by Lyndon LaRouche in his Oasis Plan for Mideast peace:
