The aerobatic group of СОКОЛЫ РОССИИ - Sokolij Rossij (Falcons of Russia or Russian Falcons) represents the 4th Center for combat use and retraining of flight personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense (4th TsPB and PLS) of Lipetsk.
The team was formed in 1993 to improve the group flying capabilities of fighters, as well as to demonstrate the capabilities of the Su-27 aircraft and professional training of pilots.
The day of formation of the aerobatics and air combat team "Falcons of Russia" is considered June 12, 2004, and during a show in Nizhny Novgorod dedicated to the centenary of the birth of V.P. Chkalov, the name "Russian Hawks" was first heard.

Since the beginning of 2000 it is the only aerobatic team demonstrating elements of low-altitude air combat on military fighters in addition to the classic complex solo and group aerobatics of six or four Su-27s.
Over the years the team performed on aircraft based at the Lipetsk Aviation Center: Su-27, Su-30, Su-34, Su-35S, MiG-29, Su-25. As of 2021, the group is armed with Su-30SM and Su-35S aircraft.
In detail: from 2008 to 2013 the flight program included aerobatics on board the Su-34 fighter-bomber.

“Falcons of Russia” is the only aerobatic team that uses fighter aircraft of this class to demonstrate defensive-offensive techniques in close air combat. The complexity of the program lies in maneuvering at a maximum altitude of 200 m, in a limited space and at speeds of up to 500-800 km/h. Their livery on display differs slightly from the classic blue-toned camouflage due to the presence of Russian tricolor bands on the fuselage and on the vertical fins as well as the presence of white on the front part of some aircraft.
