United States President Joe Biden was heckled during a campaign speech in Georgia and was called ‘Genocide Joe’ over Washington’s support to Israel’s war in Gaza. A pro-Palestine activist, who disrupted Biden’s speech, was dragged away by U.S. Secret Service members. The United States is facing global heat for backing Israel’s war in Gaza where nearly 31,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war began on October 7 last year when Hamas killed nearly 1,200 Israelis and dragged around 250 with them to Gaza.

Palestinians alleged that Israeli settlers have smashed and defaced tombstones at a historic Islamic cemetery along the eastern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Jerusalem. According to the Palestinian Media Center, which documented the vandalism, Israeli settlers were behind the incident. The cemetery, Bab al-Rahma, hosts the graves of notable companions of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, Al Jazeera reported.

European Union has announced that it will open a new sea corridor to deliver aid to Gaza amid the war. The humanitarian aid will be shipped from Cyprus to Gaza. The EU Chief said the sea corridor will be open from March 10.
