I discovered lilies that are in full bloom along the cliff at the top of the mountain, filled with the aroma of flowers.
Edible and medicinal lilies are the two main categories into which they fall.
There is another type of lily that is typically consumed, but the wild lily found in the mountains is typically used medicinally.
I preserved the wild flowers I picked so I could fried them with pork.
