An Easy to Install Pop Up Yard Drain Outlet

In this video, I’m giving an installation and overview of an NDS yard drainage emitter. This is the pop-up type and will require as you will see, an adapter to connect directly to the 4 inch corrugated drain pipe in my yard. My installation is very simple as the previous owners just buried the pipe in the ground without adding gravel or anything, I simply installed this pop-up drain on the end of the corrugated drain pipe and then recovered it with dirt. I am using this pop-up drain emitter to keep leaves and debris out of the drain pipe and to keep the drain pipe hole open as the grass was growing over the outlet.
I then dug up some grass plugs from other areas in the yard and planted them around the new NDS pop up yard drain outlet, so that the grass would grow in quicker.
