- We are absolutely honored to have Gloriane be our first episode of our new path. If you haven't seen what is happening in Quebec, book an hour of your day off at 4pm Atlantic Time and join us to hear how one of the biggest court proceedings in history is about to unfold tomorrow.

- WHO IS GLORIANE BLAIS? | Born in Sherbrooke, Blais became a lawyer in 1999. She represented some of the victims of the Lac-Mégantic train accident.

Blais was chosen as the Parti Québécois candidate in the provincial riding of Mégantic-Compton during the 2007 and 2008 general elections, although voters chose to elect Johanne Gonthier of the Quebec Liberal Party. She ran again, this time in the new constituency of Mégantic, in 2012 then in 2018, without success.

Blais presented her candidacy for the leadership of the Parti Québécois in 2020, but failed to gather the 2,000 signatures of party members necessary within the prescribed deadline to formalize her candidacy.
