Antonio Perkins was a resident of Chicago, Illinois. Perkins was a father of 3 children. He was employed at McDonald's.
Perkins was a documented gang member, but had stopped being involved in gang activity.
Death
On June 15, 2016 Perkins was fatally shot while live streaming on Facebook Live in Chicago, Illinois. At about 8:45p.m., Perkins was filming himself with his phone, talking to the camera and other people while walking around on the sidewalk. As he stares into the camera, shots suddenly ring out. About 12 shots can be heard as Perkins falls to the ground and witnesses scream.
Perkins was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:07 p.m. Perkins suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and head.
Perkins is the second man in Chicago, Illinois to die while streaming on Facebook live. Bryan Fields was murdered in March 2016 while streaming from his home.

Police are investigating Perkins' death.
