The Quiet Separation of Quebec?

Through our work supporting those who have charges in Quebec, we noticed some strange goings on in the "La belle province".

First, the Quebec Charter was "modernized in June of 2022 means that Quebec is no longer providing government documents in English. Including court documents and even disclosure. This contravenes the Constitution Act that states the two official languages of Canada are French and English.

Then Quebec is refusing those outside of Quebec to attend court through Zoom and stated that doing so would be out of "their jurisdiction". Furthermore, it appears that everyone who was charged under the Quarantine Act was not charged by a Public Health Agency of Canada but was instead charged by Quebec authorities.

This led us to question "What the heck is going on in Quebec?" We may have found the answer in a motion that was passed in the House in 2006 that created the Nation of Quebec. Quebec now has its own National Assembly, with a President and Quebec no longer pledges an Oath to the Monarch.

Let's discuss this latest discovery on tonight's Zoom!
