7 Indian citizens issued an appeal and said that they were forcibly recruited into the Russian army and sent to the war against Ukraine. They said that they came to Russia as tourists at the end of December 2023, but were tricked and taken to Belarus. Here, they said that they faced the threat of arrest for violating the visa regime and were eventually recruited into the ranks of the Russian army. After the Indians signed a document written in Russian, they learned that it was a contract to serve in the army. Indian citizens sent to Ukraine after 15 days of training are asking for help to get out of their situation.
