If you missed it (shame on you), several of us live-blogged that catastrophe last night, and true story, I am feeling hungover, and not because I had too much fun. Ok, to be fair WE had fun at Joe's expense while hanging out in a very 'Cheers'-like environment but listening to the lies and nonsense that old man spewed for an hour was painful. I honestly don't know how anyone can watch him speak and not feel like throwing things around the room. Just blatant, obnoxious, shameless lies that he KNEW were lies. The one bright spot (other than the other Twitchy maniacs live-blogging with me) was watching Speaker Mike Johnson make the same faces I was making as Joe yelled, mumbled, slurred, and whispered his way through the bumper-sticker speech. Not to mention Johnson is pretty easy on the eyes. OH SETTLE DOWN, I'm being honest. He has the most perfect hair … Anyway.
