For the past 3-1/2 years, I have been working on a personal project that I have been wanting to build since the year 1977. A full size wireless remote control replica of R2D2 from STAR WARS. Since technology and the much needed funds we not readily available back in the day, I was finally able to make it happen. I took photos of the construction process as well as made a 3 minute video set to music, which shows how it was built. The last 40 seconds of the video you will see R2 rolling around on the street with all the lights, chirps and movements that bring him to life.
