05.04.24 - A war in Europe is "not inevitable", but also "not impossible", said the President of the European Commission on Wednesday before a plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. In her opinion, the EU should invest more in defense over the next five years and "give priority to joint defense procurement." The Commission is currently developing a strategy for the defense industry based on the experience of using taxpayers' money to support the production of COVID-19 vaccines.
