NewtiPower 12v LiFePo4 Batteries

An overview of my use of lithium batteries from NewtiPower sold on Amazon.

I purchased one battery to make a DIY portable power station and replace my bad battery on my camper. It worked out so good I bought two more later in 2023. Coupled with a 40A MPPT solar charge controller from Epever, 600 watts worth of solar panels, and some DIY skills, I have used these batteries in my camper off grid style and to power shop lights, power tools, and other equipment at home. I have a large 2400 watt inverter that ran many shop tools, lights, and even the fridge (during a power outage).

I plan on redoing my camper electrical to make it totally compatible with LifPo4 batteries. The current charger / power supply works only for AGM or acid batteries and does not have an inverter. My MPPT solar charge controller is removable and can be mounted inside my garage when not being used in the camper.

I hope this overview is helpful. The NewtiPower batteries are performing very good. No they are not a sponsor, but of course I'd welcome anyone wanting to let me test a product. In the future I will be building a 48volt system for solar. Perhaps they will begin making 48v batteries.
