2 killed at CMU; police still searching for suspect as lockdown of school is lifted

Students were being allowed to leave the buildings of Central Michigan University after police began lifting a lockdown that was put into place Friday after two people were killed on campus. Police continue to search for an armed and dangerous man. Police confirmed the shooting stemmed from a domestic violence situation and the two killed were not students. 7 Action News have confirmed the two people shot and killed are James and Diva Davis, the parents of the suspect. James Davis, Sr. is a part time police officer.
