“Space Impact” Metal Stars - Turrican 2 (Amiga) PARODY song lyrics

I never got to play this one for Retrogames, but the Turrican series was my favorite Sidescrolling Shmup before I found games like Gunstar Heroes and Metal Slug. This still holds a massive place in my heart, especially that music. God, the Amiga could do amazing things with its sound card.
Everyone who got into chip tunes later in the 90s were listing to stuff I was like “huh, sounds like one of the old bops from the good old Amiga days” good vibes tho, glad it hits the right notes.

This music isn’t my favorite from the game.
The rest of the game soundtrack is pretty much exquisite, but this is the one with the shortest loop (the others are like a 4 minute concerto by comparison) this one was pretty much an earworm for me, also because the level it was on was so difficult.
It was the same difficulty as the waterfall of doom from Sonic 1 on the Master System.
Same idea. Climb up with well timed jumps while sliding back down seemingly getting nowhere.
