One of the tactics commonly used by detractors of the Restored Gospel is to call into question the veracity of the Book of Abraham. They will tell you that it was simply a work of fiction based on the imagination of the Prophet Joseph Smith when he bought some Mummies. However, those detractors aren’t giving you the full story or being completely forth coming with all the evidence. This serves to cause some people to doubt and lose their testimony of the Restored Gospel without ever hearing the full story.
