The Partnership between Elton John (Music) and Bernie Taupin (Lyrics) has been as BRILLIANT a Songwriting Duo as has EVER EXISTED, there with the likes of Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, and Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson...

The Songs of Elton John are second to None, as his Musical Prowess was 'Other Worldly', but when you add the Spiritual Layer from Bernie Taupin, with a Range of Metaphors that literally covered almost every topic Known to Man, you get LEGEND, and Philadelphia Freedom is just another JEWEL in the Crown of their Music...

What does Philadelphia Freedom Mean? The Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation are ALLEGORIES for our Seven Chakras, and since the Church of Philadelphia was the Sixth of these 'Churches' (The Kingdom of God is Within Us), that makes Philadelphia a Metaphor for our Sixth Chakra, which is the Third Eye Chakra; which is Achieved by ACTIVATING THE PINEAL GLAND, via going Within ourselves thru Meditation, to Achieve the Stillness and Silence Necessary to Connect with God as ONE...

And this is why I created the Video for the Song this Way, to SHOW Everyone the Parable of Philadelphia Freedom...and throughout the Song there are Beautiful Tributes to Jesus Christ as the WAY, the Light and the Truth, that Must Shine Upon Us, for us to RISE to God in Heaven...
