European Perch SOS, Saving fish from a disappearing stream

I tried to save as many perch as possible from the intermittent stream. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save all of them, as some of the perch were already in a very bad condition due to the poor water quality. Perches have been released into water where they will have many chances to survive. (plenty of oxygen, food, etc.).

The European perch (Perca fluviatilis), also known simply as perch, is a freshwater fish native to Europe and northern Asia. It is a popular species among anglers and is known for its distinctive appearance with dark vertical stripes along its body. Perch are carnivorous and feed on smaller fish, insects, and crustaceans.
